The Accommodation Heathfield House is a spacious detached property comprising of 6 single ground floor bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities, a kitchen/ dining area and reception room. This area is fully wheelchair accessible. First floor consists of 3 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities and a small quite room with computer access. The office is also on the same floor. The second floor has a very large self contained room with en-suite and balcony. Externally the home is served by spacious attractive garden providing opportunities for relaxation, space and activity as required. The front of the house has a large drive way. Heath Road has easy access for bus’s from Uxbridge and access to the A40 , Harrow and Ealing. Our Aims and Objectives 1. To offer both a safe and secure home and learning opportunities to adults who have a learning disability and mental health needs . 2. To encourage Service users to be individual members of society within our local community and beyond. 3. To offer a supportive environment, within which Service users can learn, develop, and reinforce the skills and attitudes that are necessary for them to achieve their maximum level of independence. 4. To be aware of and encourage each Service user to establish their own individuality and preferences in all aspects of their life. 5. To ensure that the individual is aware that his/her choices and preferences may not be identical or even compatible with those of other people. Each Service user must be able to express their needs, but be prepared to sometimes forego that need for the benefit of the majority. 6. To acknowledge and promote the rights of the Service users to self respect, and respect from and for others; privacy; self-determination; emotional expression; risk taking; learn by mistakes; constructive and pleasurable use of leisure time; maintain existing family and social relationships; and form new relationships.
